New to Pinball?

Where can I play?

Check out the Locations page to find a business near you, or play in  a Tournament -both are great ways to meet other pinball people. People will sometimes open their homes to GAPAS members, so subscribe and watch for non-tournament events.

Learning the Skills

Here are just a few ways to pick up new pinball skills:

Buying your first pin

Whether it's worn-out beater or a NIB (new-in-box) game, there's nothing like the excitement of playing a pin in your own home.  But where can you find one?

For a used game, you may have to pay cash, or use a cash equivalent like PayPal. Ideally, you should ask a pinball "veteran" to come along and help you check out the game, and to help make the transaction safe. Bring a bright flashlight, and ask a lot of questions!
